born in 1933, ono was one of the first to make art a collaborative
experience. she created many "instructional" pieces where she provided
her audience with instructions to interact and create the art
all of her work can be done anywhere, at any time.
i wanted to embody this same spirit and create pieces
that could be
interacted with anywhere at any time. i wanted to show
that social media can be a collaborative experience.
